Bangkok, the capital city of Thailand has two international airports and the larger one is the Suvarnabhumi Airport which is known as BKK in short form. If you ever come across an incident where you have to pass time during a layover at BKK, don't worry about what to do because there's plenty of things you can engage in. This airport has been recognised as one of the best airports in Asia and it indeed offers great experiences to its visitors.


Connect with your friends

The airport provides free WIFi and you may stay connected with your friends and family as much as you want. Update your social media accounts in case you forgot to do that when you were about to leave. If you've got 6 or more hours between your two flights, here's a great option for you. Bangkok- the city center is just 30km away from the airport. Take a taxi and negotiate charges with the driver to cover all Bangkok attractions such as the Grand Palace, Wat Pho, and Wat Arun. If you feel like doing some more shopping, you may also head to the Siam Paragon and CentralWorld Siam for an awesome time.

Get some good sleep

Yes, you may sleep at the airport itself and there's no one to judge you or say anything to you. But, if you are looking for better and more comfortable sleep, you can simply head to one of the good hotels located within close vicinity. You may also choose any hotel in Sukhumvit the likes of Maitria Hotel Sukhumvit 18 which is located just 30-min away from the airport and spend your 6-12 hours in Bangkok quite peacefully.
